Examples of personal and professional art works
My personal work
I have not photographed most of my work over the years, but I can share more recent paintings that I have. As I have mentioned I apprenticed in various studios in my younger years. One of which was Raymond Page internationally known seascape and landscape artist. At a very young age I exhibited and sold my own seascapes in Wyland Galleries Hawaii. I was in fact the first artist to paint a bi-level seascape with him. I veered early on from this path of painting. Later in life I rekindled a love for landscapes. I use some of my earlier lessons of painting in combination with my love for venetian plaster finishes and metallics to come up with moody mixed medium images. My commuter series demonstrates the subtle light of dusk or dawn...a stolen moment. I have been in a few joint exhibitions over the years. Notably, I have exhibited in The New Zealand Art Show and was a featured artist in 2010 private showing. And, I have exhibited in art shows featuring various art, sculpture and photography from film industry colleagues. One of which I curated. See examples of work by clicking on slide shows below.
